Captain Gökhan Baspinar

He was born 1961 in Istanbul, Türkiye, he’s an experienced Captain, with a long time experience in crewed yacht charter business. 9 years long he is in command of the M/Y Stella of the North. He is originally from Turkish Navy and he has worked on different size of cargo vessels and he is ex-Captain of " The Largest Private Yacht of the World" M/Y Savarona. 

An ideal person who as a yacht commander and with a help of experienced three crew member  can recognize any of your wish or interest, and who can make your staying and sailing in MY Stella a pleasent vacation, and an unforgetable experience.

Captain Gokhan has Oceangoing Master Unlimited Licence and speaks Turkish, Italian and English.

             Deckhand Kemal Alkan

Kemal was born and raised in Ayvalık, near the beach towns of the North Egean Riviera of Türkiye. Always being close to the sea he developed a keen interest in sailing.  After spending almost 7 years in the fishing sector he made a career move to the yachting industry to combine his love of travel and meeting new people. Kemal is currently engaged in completing his Yacht Captains exams  and is getting closer by the day.

With his recent safety training and past lifesaving experience he will be an asset to M/Y Stella and he looks forward to ensuring that any experience onboard will be a lasting memory.

Kemal has PADI diving certificate and he speaks Turkish and basic English.

                           Chef & Stewardess Akgonca Göztas

She was born 1970 in Izmir, Türkiye. Her passion for food started at an early age - and thanks to her grandmother and mother - she grew up in a world surrounded by food and culinary delights.

Akgonca  was introduced to the yachting industry in 1998 and has pursued her career as Stewardess and Chef on board both Private and Charter boats for the past 10 years.  She takes particular interest in a healthy approach to diet & dietary requirements and enjoys collecting regional recipes/dishes from around the world.

She prefers also to focus her experience on the service side of the yachting industry. She is both friendly and approachable and loves to how off her creative flair. She prides herself on her attention to detail and always aims to exceed every guest expectation.

Akgonca speaks Turkish, English and French.
